Ultrasound Guided Injections:

Varicose veins (Sclerotherapy) are enlarged, twisted veins. They can happen anywhere in the body, but are more common in the legs. Although they are not considered a serious medical condition, they can be extremely uncomfortable and can lead to more serious problems.

With the referral of a physician, our Medical Director & Vein Specialist, Dr. Ron St. Germaine offers treatment through ultrasound guided injections. 

Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy (UGS) is a highly specialized procedure for treating advanced varicose veins that are hidden beneath the skin. The procedure is very effective and involves injecting a sclerosant solution into the abnormal veins using ultrasound guidance, causing the vein wall to collapse. The veins dissolve and disappear as the body gradually absorbs them. Overall improving the vein and the discomfort that comes along with it. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Physician referral required and can be provided by Dr. St. Germaine. Prior to referral appointment, please call FACE BOUTIQUE at 587-299-4520 to book in for your varicose vein treatment and compression stocking fitting. 

Compression socks are mandatory on day of treatment and to be worn for two weeks after.
